To the best of our knowledge, The Bear in Camberwell has no relation to the TV series of the same name, but there are some parallels. The cooking at this pub aims higher than your usual pub grub, with elevated dishes such as hand-rolled cavatelli with rapini, chilli, and garlic showing serious intent. And while the foundations are rooted in old-school hospitality, with vintage pub decor showiong through, the space has been given a contemporary brush-up – there's even a vinyl corner.
