The Latchmere

Having recently undergone renovation, The Latchmere is a cosy pub that’s home to one of the most celebrated theatres in the country.

Situated in one of Battersea’s most beautiful buildings, The Latchmere is located on a corner just a few steps from Battersea Park. The elegant pub with an eye-catching retro front encompasses a welcoming bar area with a large gin balloon overseeing the proceedings. The walls of the pub are covered in photos, posters and artwork. There is also plenty of outdoor space, with a heated courtyard that can be covered in winter, as well as garden seating.

The food menu at The Latchmere covers a variety of international favourites and bar food, including tagliatelle, Thai fish cakes and burgers, with roasts on Sundays. There’s a curated wine list to choose your drinks from, as well as classic and house cocktails, draught beers and ciders, G&Ts and more.

The space above the bar is home to Theatre503, an award-winning theatre that is considered by many to be among the most important contemporary theatres in Great Britain. They put on more than 300 shows per year, championing new writers and helping develop their careers. The theatre shows a range of visually thrilling productions, from short plays to full runs of drama, in the 63-capacity room at The Latchmere, and has won multiple Olivier Awards for them.
