A modern gastropub in Kentish Town, The Parakeet is located at the site of the former The Oxford and backed by the people behind The Blues Kitchen. In addition to the usual bar offerings, The Parakeet has chef Ben Allen, formerly of the Michelin-starred Brat, manning the kitchen. He's in charge of a menu of ingredient-led, contemporary European fare, cooked over fire and changing according to the seasons.
