The Royal Academy of Arts is an independent charity-run gallery in the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly. It's been around for over 250 years, beginning as a prestigious art school that's still operating today. The galleries showcases artworks by historic and contemporary artists via major exhibitions, as well as the blockbuster annual Summer Exhibition that any artist can apply to be part of.

An essential place to visit for any art fans in London. The space has so much history and there’s a really dynamic exhibition programme. I’ve seen so many inspiring shows by modern and contemporary artists here. Added to that, the gallery is easy to get to smack in the middle of Piccadilly.
