The vibrant, beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with its own character, boast carefully restored antiques, canopy beds, finely carved headboards, a wealth of rich fabrics, heavy curtains, gilded taps and more, all carefully arranged for showstopping impact. That's not to say the modern amenities are lacking, as each bedroom comes with a flat-screen TV, media hub, free WiFi and more.

The hotel's colourful settings are perfect for fashionable photo shoots and filming, and there are discreet meeting rooms available as well.

As befits the aristocratic vibe, breakfast can be served in your room, or you can take it in the equally lovely public areas on the ground floor, including a sunny courtyard.
