The Dilly

This central London hotel has been functioning since 1908, but back then it was known as Le Méridien. It’s stylish but maintains its smidge of history and heritage whilst ensuring it lives up to its five-star status. The Terrace is the main draw, which is basically a bright, natural light-filled conservatory filled with houseplants. It used to house the hotel pool, known for its poolside parties in the 1930s, before it was moved into the basement. Pop-up restaurants reside in the Grade II-listed Oak Room and Lounge, with fine-dining Indian restaurant Madhu’s the most recent guest.
