Admiralty Arch is a landmark building in London which, over the years, has played a vital role in ceremonies, royal weddings, funerals and coronations in London. It was initially commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of his mother, Queen Victoria, although he died before it was finished. It was designed by Sir Aston Webb in 1910, who also worked on Buckingham Palace and Victoria and Albert Museum. It leads from the southwest corner of Trafalgar Square into The Mall and is one of London’s most famous landmarks.
