A historic South London landmark, the Battersea Power Station is a decommissioned powerplant that was closed for almost four decades. Following extensive redevelopment, it reopened in 2022 as an upmarket retail, leisure and residential destination.

Europe's largest brick building, the Grade II-listed Battersea Power Station is an immediately recognisable blocky structure with quadruple chimneys, immortalised on the cover of Pink Floyd's album Animals. The landmark has retained its original 1930s Art Deco fittings through refurbishment, as well as the brutalist feel of later additions.

With its new retail and leisure offering, the Power Station has become a major London attraction and draw visitors from all over the world. The restored Turbine Halls house a number of high street brands, including Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Mango, Ace + Tate, as well as a specialist bookstore and more.

The Boiler House at the heart of this impressive building also features a broad range of culinary delights, with vendors ranging from popular street food options to established fine dining restaurants, breweries and bars. They're joining the already established Circus West Village right next up to the restored building, and Electric Boulevard, a newly opened high street for the local community, to ensure the area has something for everyone.

The Battersea Power Station also includes entertainment and leisure options such as a boxing gym, massages, a cinema, a theatre and even Lift 109, a special glass elevator that takes visitors to the top of one of the chimneys, providing sweeping views of the area and a birds-eye look at the Power Station itself. In addition, the building encompasses office spaces and more than 250 lavish apartments.

Well worth a visit, the mall is expansive and the food options are great
