In Dalston you can see the 'Hackney Peace Carnival Mural'. This long-standing bit of street art was painted in 1985 to commemorate the 1983 Hackney Peace Carnival. Efforts have been made over the years to trace the individuals in the painting, which appeared on the cover of Rudimental's album 'Home'. This vibrant addition to the cityscape is close to Dalston Eastern Curve Garden.
