The vast Richmond Park might not be as convenient to visit as, say, Hyde Park, but its relative remoteness just makes it that much more suited to escaping from the city buzz. A National Nature Reserve, the park is famed for its wildlife, including herds of deer that roam it freely, while offering plenty of green open spaces and park-related activities.

Massive and beautiful park. It's pretty far from Central London just for a stroll, but makes for a great day trip.
