Wimbledon and Putney Commons

Wimbledon and Putney Commons is an expansive stretch of open space in South West London. Covering 1,140 acres, it’s an ideal escape from the pace of the city. As well as welcoming human visitors, it’s a conservation space for wildlife. Facilities include sports pitches and horse riding routes, a golf course, a natural trail, and tea rooms. Special events take place regularly too.
