St Mark's Church in Regent's Park dates back to the 19th century, but was rebuilt following destruction in WW2. It's also known as the Zoo Church, not just because of its proximity to London Zoo, but also the stained-glass windows depicting a range of the Zoo's animals. The Church also holds an annual service to commemorate St Francis of Assisi at the Zoo's penguin pool, in addition to a varied programme of events hosted at the church itself.
