Located inside St Pancras Gardens' ancient churchyard, you'll stumble across a towering ash tree surrounded by hundreds of overlapping gravestones that were placed there by writer Thomas Hardy. In the mid-1860s, Britain's growing railway system needed to make room for new lines, which meant reburying graves at another site, a task given to Thomas Hardy before he became a writer.
