The Poplar Chihuahua

Sight
The Poplar Chihuahua

On the side of a block of residential flats in East London you'll see a giant chihuahua, commonly known as 'The Poplar Chihuahua'. Painted by Irony and Boe, the massive little pooch might be ironic and amusing but the work is also made to comment on the gentrification of East London. The recognisable work has become a symbol for the local area and is valued by the community.
