Founded by Rocky Aoki, Benihana first opened its doors in 1964 and is known for introducing the West to sushi and teppanyaki show dining. Inside, there's Japanese decor with high tables overlooking the grills where chefs prepare dishes. There are separate lunch and dinner menus comprising sushi, nigiri, tempura, gyoza, and various meat, seafood, and vegetable dishes. There's also a range of Japanese sake, wines, and cocktails.
