Tottenham’s Nigerian tapas restaurant Chuku’s aims to give diners more than a meal – this is a social experience that builds community. This is slick and contemporary Nigerian cuisine that encourages sharing and socialising. If you’ve never tried Nigerian food before, a meal here is a flavour-filled crash course of authentic dishes. There’s a relaxed atmosphere and chilled playlist, plus vibrant Nigerian-inspired art on the walls. At this neighbourhood restaurant you can totally unwind whilst you enjoy modern African food.

Chuku’s celebrates food being central to Nigerian social activity through its innovative menu of small plates. The menu fuses traditional recipes with the kitchen’s own innovations to bring diners a wide variety of dishes that focus on authentic ingredients and community. Grab your friends, order lots of plates to share, and discover what this type of cooking is all about. Expect yam dumplings, jollof quinoa, chicken wings, and suya meatballs. The broad menu here includes dishes for every taste.

Chuku’s also hosts a weekend brunch with your choice of dishes and cocktails - great if you want to get your weekend going in a fun and sociable way. There’s also a more intimate supper club that’s limited to 10 guests, including 10 courses of tapas dishes and lots of conversation and community. Whether you’re familiar with West African food or you’re discovering it for the first time, Chuku’s offers a fresh take on the experience and immerses you in Nigerian culture.
