Empire Empire Marylebone

Additional information: The original Empire Empire in Notting Hill received the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2024.

Gunpowder founder Harneet Baweja's response to people asking why his restaurants don't have curry or bread, Empire Empire serves hearty, affordable Indian fare, the kind that would hit the spot after a night of dancing. And seeing as the restaurant is inspired by 1970s disco, with groovy LPs lining the walls and Bollywood bangers coming out of the vintage jukebox, you might just be doing some of that dancing while you're there. There's a bespoke speakeasy in the basement as well.
