If you're a fan of meat in various forms, from T-bone steaks to ribs and burgers, the Hawksmoor restaurants are the place to go. The proprietors aim to be recognised as one of the best steak restaurants in the country and they seem to have been succeeding so far, restoring the reputation of British beef in the process. The St Pancras branch is housed in a glamorous high-ceilinged venue dating back to Victorian times.

Reliably excellent as is usual for Hawksmoor. The venue is one of the nicest one’s of theirs I’ve been to, grand but not impersonal. Shout out to the very kind staff as well, and don’t sleep on the spinach.
