La Trompette

La Trompette has been serving up reliably excellent European fine dining to the well-heeled denizens of Chiswick for more than two decades. Chef Rob Watson offers a three-course à la carte menu at lunch and dinner, with dishes based around top-notch seasonal ingredients from the UK and beyond.

La Trompette has a loyal following of local residents and diners from further afield. They come for the consistent cooking, extensive international wine list and attentive service. Carefully-sourced ingredients in season take centre stage on the three-course menu, which changes daily but serves similar dishes at both lunch and dinner. British produce meets French and other Mediterranean influences in dishes such as Cornish mackerel with warm brandade and grilled squid and Roast Somerset saxon chicken with garlic leaf gnocchetti.

Take a leaf out of the Chiswick locals' book and come by for a long, leisurely lunch accompanied by a few glasses of really good wine. The extensive wine list includes everything from English sparkling wines to Lebanese reds but you can also bring your own bottle, for a corkage fee.

Eat al fresco on the terrace in warm weather. The bright, contemporary private dining room seats between 10 and 16 guests and is ideal for a business lunch or private celebration. The entire restaurant can also be hired for exclusive use.
