Osteria del Macellaio

Formerly a Macellaio RC steakhouse, this spot relaunched as Osteria del Macellaio in 2023, updating the menu but retaining its core audience of meat lovers. It now serves a three-course menu at a budget-friendly price, with food revolving around a nose-to-tail approach. “Parts of the cow that are rarely used” are put to use in Italian dishes such as classic meatballs or dry pasta, served with a slow-cooked beef shin and onion sauce. The Union Street restaurant is in a railway arch and has a smart contemporary look. The restaurant also offers butchery masterclasses.
