If you've ever been lucky enough to dine at the original Sunday in Brooklyn in actual Brooklyn, then you'll probably understand what all of the fuss is about with this one. The London branch is just as snazzy, and in fact, feels a lot like the Brooklyn one. Think potted plants, reclaimed wood beams and terracotta tiling. It's stylish, that's for sure.
The cocktail menu here is really something else - it's creative and playful and takes all of our classic favourites and shakes them up into something entirely new, like the Sunday Bloody that swaps out the vodka for Mezcal Verde for a hint of serious smokiness.
They're mostly known for their brunch menu, which includes a glossy stack of pancakes with hazelnut maple praline and brown butter. It looks like a work of art almost too good to tuck into (just search them on Instagram to see for yourself).
For savoury enthusiasts, you've got cheddar biscuits served with white sausage gravy and poached eggs drizzled in hot sauce, or classic shakshuka served with house foccacia for mopping, dunking and dipping.
