Having trained at the Michelin-starred Nahm in London, head chef Jane Alty carries on the spirit of that now-closed establishment at her Peckham restaurant. The Begging Bowl is known for original street-style dishes that celebrate the complexity of Thai cuisine. Having inherited techniques, suppliers and even some hard-to-find equipment from Nahm, the venue’s team is also dedicated to sourcing the finest ingredients from Thailand.
