££ Mediterranean restaurant

Stokey residents might be familiar with The Lacy Nook from its time there, but after closing down and doing the pop-up rounds for a while, the restaurant relaunched in Walthamstow's busy Wood Street area. Inspired by the self-taught owner and chef's Balkan heritage, the restaurant serves updated, original takes on the region's cuisine, such as beef ćevapi, shopska salad, moussaka, and more. The new venue provides a pleasant, cosy setting, with ample outdoor seating as well.
