Who knew that George William Wilton's fishmonger that he opened in 1742 would still be open and functioning today. We bet he didn't. This 280-year-old establishment is a timeless and elegant seafood restaurant that really makes you feel like you're experiencing a slice of history, along with a slice of very good food. They have an à la carte menu, as well as a changing seasonal menu, that features dishes like grilled Cornish plaice and half a dozen fresh rock oysters.
