The Gate Theatre was founded above the Prince Albert pub in Notting Hill in 1979, moving to Camden in 2022. Throughout its existence, it has nurtured international theatre that is inclusive and representative of its diverse local communities. It is committed to environmental sustainability, and also offers discounted tickets for those in need, including Pay What You Can performances.
