NO NO NO. We should have read reviews about Bockholmen before we booked the orangery for a wedding lunch with our loved ones. I have discovered that many people share the same experience of lack of service, communication, cold dishes and missing orders. We should also have gone with our gut feeling when the communication from the restaurant was lacking already at the first contact - it was telling for our entire booking.
During lunch we had to wait for dishes that arrived late, the dishes were never in sync. When the food finally arrived, it was COLD. No non-alcoholic alternatives were developed for the food. One dish was presented - the other not. There was NO communication from the waiter which was both stressful and confusing (who by the way was alone with 26 people?) Empty water carafes on the tables and the coffee that was to be drunk for cake NEVER CAME? And not only that - when we went up to the restaurant and pointed this out (when guests already had to leave and our time was up) we got an unpleasant reception and were told that the restaurant does indeed open at 5 pm and we are welcome to order coffee then? Terrible treatment!! This is just to mention a part of everything. I have gathered the strength to even have to relive this spectacle mentally again. Please don't book this for your big day at least.
