Paradise? Rather Hell! We were 14 people who had booked a table. When we get there, the first thing we are greeted by is soaring techno music. The "security" pulls at our clothes and says that we MUST hang the jackets in the closet and pay the mandatory fee of SEK 40 / jacket. Three people in the party ask if they can wear their jackets when they are freezing and this was ok. After 20 minutes, still no waitress has come to the table and the techno music is still roaring in your ears so it is not possible to talk. We then go and ask if it is possible to lower and get the answer that they still "sound check", and then 5 people in the staff stand and dance and play around with the DJ booth. We then have to change the table to a table three meters away so as not to be as disturbed by the music.
45 minutes have passed and there is still no dinnerware that has come to the table, so we go and get our own menus. There is a dish under 300kr, the rest costs over 300kr and everything is served with rice and a fried tomato (according to the menu) and there is no vegetarian option. We order the food and ask if they can serve a cake we have with us after dinner when we celebrate a birthday. They will then charge SEK 30 per piece of cake served, ie SEK 420 to cut up the cake we ourselves brought with us, we then decide to eat the cake at home instead.
Now the worst is happening!: In the middle of waiting for the food, a security guard shouts 3 meters away, that one of the party must hang his jacket in the closet, even though we previously had it approved to have the jacket on. Since the person in question does not understand Swedish, we answer others in the party that he is freezing and wants to wear the jacket / jacket. The security guard then comes up and questions how long the person in question has lived in Sweden and that it "does not snow in the restaurant" and then cannot wear his jacket / jacket. We kindly ask that the security guard can take this outside so that the dinner with the remaining guests does not have to be affected. We are told that we should certainly do this his way and cannot move. The discussion continues and the guard says things like "hit me then, hit me then, I'm still backed by the police law" and is generally aggressive and heated.
We end up choosing to leave the restaurant. The staff and the owner do not say a word during the whole incident and also nothing when we choose to leave, not a single apology. I can't therefore say anything about the food, but I find it hard to believe that the food lives up to the expensive price.
In summary, it was the world's worst service, crazy expensive prices and staff with zero respect and bad attitude. For an almost empty restaurant, they didn't seem to mind losing 14 guests...
