Poor service staff. The food was good, the venue was lovely but after we paid and received the receipt, I discovered that they had not registered the "Sunday taco" offer (taco + drink for 199). When I pointed out the mistake, I was told it was our fault because we hadn't stated that we wanted to take part in the offer and therefore we couldn't be compensated.
Firstly, it was not this waiter who took our order and therefore has no idea what we ordered. Secondly, an offer should be a standard regardless of whether one explicitly asks for it or not. When you buy something that falls under a promotion, it is the service staff's responsibility to inform and offer promotions.
Despite this, it was my fault that they had not registered an active promotion. After much back and forth, I was refunded what the offer covered, but I am extremely disappointed in myself for not asking for the tip back after encountering such a staff member...
I would like to add that I have been, until today, a returning customer. Usually, the food and service have been top-notch, but I am particularly dissatisfied after today's treatment.
