It was the first and last time we (AND everyone we know, believe me - NO ONE should miss what we had to suffer; social media at its best!). We were doubly fooled. TOTALLY BLOWN! On both dining experience and money. I/we should have read reviews/reviews before but unfortunately didn't. Perhaps I should also have sensed ill-advice when there were no menus that I was asking for but instead was asked to go to the menu in The Fork. I remember thinking "can really 199 SEK be the regular price in this little hole down in the basement, that's for seventeen more than both Sturehof and Operakällaren charge for several of their fine dishes". But, I was hungry, we were 6 people in the party, 4 of whom were children, and all equally hungry. In addition, it is not believed that restaurants in Sweden should be fooled / blow their guests. And a family with children too! So no, we didn't have those "tentacles" out. Unfortunately. When the kids were just poking at their dishes and NO ONE wanted to eat, I kept my good (think you should eat your food) and tried to eat mine. Although I probably thought their behavior was very strange. On the one hand, everyone was hungry and on the other hand, they usually love pasta. Never experienced this behavior with them before (everyone ate different dishes too). But. It was only to admit... I couldn't handle that many bites either. It was absolutely INEDIBLE! We were given lunch boxes to take with us. When I tried to eat my lunch box again the next day (really hungry!), I only realized that it REALLY DIDN'T WORK. It turned in my throat and came up again. Now at home in the light (very dark in the small restaurant, was that why you were not allowed to sit at the tables outside when it was more lit?🤔) I could nail my so-called "fillet of beef", and it is anything but fillet of beef, I can promise. Small slices of ngt that look like kebabs but taste... Shit frankly! And the mushroom that would consist of chanterelles and Karl Johan was not a trace of in the "pasta egg" with the cooked pasta that also tastes sour. The shock came when I then went to The Godfather's website and saw that word prices evenings are 89 SEK, except for a few dishes that cost around 100 SEK. They have thus set up a system not to have menus in front and make their own menu for The Fork where the prices are more than twice as high (200kr) and then "pretend" to give 50% discount. Is this really legal??? If it had at least been good food... Some credit one might think a cook and rest owner should have. Especially in "these times", and against a larger family with children, but not. Will report this and warn everyone NOT to go there. Shame on you who treat both families with children and others like this!! But rumors always catch up... Looking at the reviews / reviews now that there are several who discovered this menu scam and that people even got stomach sick! The greatest joy right now is that we barely ate, then we might also have lain unfolded.
