The emphasis at Garveriet's restaurant is on culinary craftsmanship and locally-produced, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant, café and bakery are on the ground floor and a large, wood-fired oven stands at the heart of their cooking and food production. They serve breakfast with sourdough bread and at lunch there's a range of dishes to choose from based around vegetables in season. Buy bread and rolls from the bakery and vegetables, charcuterie, cheese and dairy products from their shop.

Garveriet is housed in industrial-style premises with unembellished, rustic decor in natural materials. You can book the rooms for various events, from weddings to parties and conferences. You can also attend one of their courses and learn more about, for example, sustainable cooking or new ways of baking. Groups of at least ten keen foodies can book Garveriet's food studio and cook dinner under the guidance of one of the chefs.

If you want to enjoy a walk in the surrounding countryside there are various walking packages to choose from, with breakfast or lunch at Garveriet, followed by a walk and then entry to Öijared Resort's sauna and swimming pool.
