As an early Christmas gift I got 3 days overnight at UpperHouse! With the room I got entry to the SPA…. I can thank my generous friends from the Happy Youth (party) days.
The SPA was really fresh and these days, in December 2023 in connection with the “July Liseberg”, I was there and had the facility almost to myself! I think it’s nice that they have an age limit; if I’m at the spa I want to be able to relax in peace without noise and fuss. Screen-free was also requested from the facility, quickly snapped a few pictures with my real camera📷 then I locked in to just be here and now!
I like to bathe in really hot water with a lot of steam in, proper Finnish sauna!! The possibility to roll in icy snow was of course difficult but it solved itself with there being a Marskin with crushed ice that you could hold onto firmly. Or you could pull yourself down to icy water at their “rainforest” shower😜… you should not forget to return and make sure that the water coming out is warm again! Pity the poor soul who comes after who is neither prepared nor perhaps does not appreciate temperature differences as much as I do *ups*
One of their pools was available so you could start up generous jets and these were incredibly nice against my sore muscles. You really didn’t need to book a massage when you could be in a warm pool at the same time as the jets did the work❤️
It was really not hard to kill time. Perfect after breakfast or to end the evening! 3 days at the SPA, yes please🤩 Strong 4 out of 5.
