In a former engine room at Gamlestadens Fabriker you'll find Gothenburg's first distillery and spirits bar, Ego Distillers. Enjoy sharing plates, drink cocktails, listen to vinyl records and take part in spirits tastings. 

Ego Distillers is housed in cool premises where the dining and room and bar meet the spirits factory. Join tastings and take a deep dive into their distillates, specifically aquavit, absinthe and gin. But you can also take a seat in the restaurant and eat some snacks and modern sharing plates that pair perfectly with their cocktails. Wherever possible, the food is made from local ingredients. The bar mixes up creative cocktails and at weekends, DJs spin vinyl records - everything from hiphop to reggae, soul and electronic music. 

If you want to take a deep dive into the craftsmanship behind Ego Distillers spirits and cocktails, you can take part in tastings and workshops, both open ones and for private groups. For example, gin tastings, guided tours and cocktail school. Tastings and workshops are arranged regularly and you can even get help putting together your own tasting session.
