The healthfood café that took Stockholmers by storm is now in Gothenburg, on Masthuggskajen. At BodyBuddy they believe food can be both delicious and nutritious. They serve healthy food with fresh ingredients in the form of bowls and salads.
In completely new premises on Masthuggskajen harbour, close to office buildings and residential areas - just a short walk from the city centre - you'll find Gothenburg's first BodyBuddy. The building has large, light, airy spaces with plenty of room whether you're coming to eat breakfast, lunch, buy something to take away or stay for a while.
The menu is seasonal and consists of healthy food for any time of day, made from fresh ingredients without refined sugar, gluten or lactose. Culinary inspiration comes from all over the world, in particular Indonesia and Bali.
There are various different kinds of coffee, healthfood shots, juices and smoothies, coconut water, lemonades and kombucha. The breakfast menu, which can be ordered all day, includes smoothie bowls, avocado toast and cold porridge. If you want something more substantial there's also a lunch menu with salads, stews and healthfood plates. Sweet tooth? How does banana bread with peanut butter or a chocolate cookie sound? Free from sugar, naturally.
The brunch menu can best be described as a mixture of everything. There are waffles if you're in the mood for something sweet, coconut yoghurt with granola for anyone who fancies something light and chicken, mango and avocado bowls if you need something more substantial.
