Gerd in Linné is an absolute gem. The carrot cake is spot on moist, flavorful, and topped with just the right amount of frosting. And the grilled cheese? Easily the best in the city.

The two brothers running the place are incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. I also really appreciate that they’ve set some limits on laptop use; the café is very popular, and it can get crowded during peak hours, so it’s great that they’re keeping the space welcoming and available for everyone.
