Lemon Garden

Pancakes, Belgian waffles, bowls and smoothies form the basis of the menu at Lemon Garden - a selection that brings out the kid in most of us. Enjoy the green, leafy indoor surroundings or buy something to enjoy on the quayside to maximise the experience. 

Lemon Garden offers a whole new way of brunching and enjoying the Swedish fika tradition. Tuck into generous, colourful dishes such as waffles, pancakes, crepes, churros and refreshing gelato, as well as smoothies and bowls made from tropical fruits, in leafy, green surroundings with plant-covered walls. Dishes are topped with both sweet and fruity accompaniments, such as chocolate, cream, fruit and greens. Much of what they serve is vegan and gluten- and/or lactose-free.  

The aim at Lemon Garden is to create Sweden's most unique brunch. Behind the concept are two brothers who are passionate about food and baking in general, and juice and desserts in particular. Those are the specialties at Lemon Garden, in the form of colourful, fabulous brunches and cakes and pastries. 

The brothers describe Lemon Garden's unique environment as biophilic, ie. a way of implementing natural elements (such as plants) in a world where many people have lost their connection with nature. The green plants offer a moment of relaxation and a chance to recharge your batteries with the environment and food.  

The concept can be found at several different locations around the country, yet it was in Gothenburg that Lemon Garden first began. In 2018, brothers Sarmad and Ahmed Alsadi chose to follow their dream and open their own café where they can focus on exactly what they love: juice and dessert. They constantly develop new, unique recipes which set Lemon Garden apart as a fika and brunch spot.
