Ingen sallad när vi valde paj som ”Take Away”. Så värdelöst, stod fint på menyn men ingick inte (!!) i Take Away. Vem vill äta en lunchpaj utan sallad…???
The only thing I could think of during my train trip to Gothenburg was soup with bread. I googled around in safe an hour and decided to go to Greek soup kitchen inside the market hall but by chance I ended up here instead. The soup was really svingod and at the bottom of the pot lay a thick layer of salmon, hert coverts, carrot and onion-and I wasn't shy about scooping this up! The Pepper scare had sting in itself and with strong flavor which I appreciate. I took a total of two bowls and an X-number of freshly baked bread slices with butter and cheese. Luxury to be able to choose from so many different varieties. For that I tasted a small chip from three of the stuffed delicate cakes. Yuuuuum! Stood me in safe 7 hours ago... Exactly what I wanted there and then.
The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I think prices are okay, 22kr for a large takeaway bun is not shabby and the bread is not much more expensive than in the grocery stores-AND much taster!
Can really recommend this place but expect that it can be difficult to find somewhere to sit and eat when it is limited with seats in the whole market hall. For a 5th it had required that little extra, finesse and nicer environment but along the conditions that exist so bears all the edible up grade!
