Centrale Trattoria / Vinoteca

Centrale is a traditional Italian trattoria and wine bar in Mölndal. Italian-style homecooking is served in inviting surroundings, among bottles of wine and candlelight. In addition to classic dishes you'll find a wide selection of wines from all over Italy.

The emphasis at Centrale is on simplicity. Food is made from few, carefully selected ingredients in season. Enjoy a really traditional Italian dinner. Start with antipasti such as vitello tonato or arancini, followed by various kinds of pasta, risotto and gnocci and then fish and meat dishes. If you still have room, order a classic tiramisu, or another dessert, to round off your meal with.

If you just want to enjoy a glass of wine in the bar, Centrale has an extensive wine list. You'll find wines from the Italian regions Piemonte, Valle d'Aosta, Lombardy, Sicily, Sardinia and Tuscany – to name just a few. Many of them come from small, local producers and the selection can vary from day to day. There are also several kinds of Italian beers if you prefer.

The premises oozes classic trattoria vibes with checked floors, wooden furniture, candlelight and wine-bottle candlesticks. There are open shelves filled with wines above the bar counter and photographic art on the walls.
