Cuckoo's Nest

You'll find Cuckoo's Nest in the Riverside Hotel, next to the harbour's edge and with views over the waters of Gothenburg. As the name suggests, it's an exciting, quirky spot. The award-winning bar, restaurant and meeting place has something for all occasions and times of day - from breakfast with beautiful views to buzzy rooftop bar in urban surroundings.  

The decor at Cuckoo's Nest is creative and detailed, with a relaxing and homely atmosphere. Start off the day with freshly baked bread, croissants, fresh fruit, omelettes and other delicious hotel-breakfast goodies. On weekdays they serve a new lunch dish every day, and salad, coffee and cookies are included. 

Dishes on the restaurant's à la carte menu change according to the season, but there are always a few classics on the menu such as the prawn sandwich and cheeseburger (which also comes in vegetarian form). The kitchen takes its inspiration from all over the world, and classic French cooking often meets American cuisine in creative combinations. 

The rooftop bar Cuckoo on The Roof is right up at the top of the building. Head up to enjoy the sun, great music, good company - and something delicious to drink. Cocktails and wine take centre stage on the menu and the drinks list is constantly changing. 

You can also organise events and meetings for up to 54 people at Cuckoo's Nest, with set menus specially created for larger groups.
