Floating Saigon is a family-run restaurant in a delightful location, with views over the waters of Gullbergsån, leafy parks and the magnificent Stora Teatern theatre. After a complete renovation, the boat has become a popular choice on warm summer evenings, with cool drinks and pleasant breezes. The restaurant has embraced its marine surroundings and tables are laid up next to the windows with views over the water, accompanied by light wooden wall panels and Vietnamese ceiling murals.
The owners moved to Gothenburg from Saigon in southern Vietnam 35 years ago and they aim to share traditional Vietnamese flavours in unique boat surroundings. Enjoy dishes such as Vietnamese spring rolls, pancakes and noodles. The secret is a passion for quality ingredients and craftsmanship. The charcoal grill provides that authentic streetfood flavour, which will transport your tastebuds to a Vietnamese backstreet.
