Leir, which is named after the Old Norse word for clay, combines a lunch restaurant, conference and party venue and catering all under one roof. Eat and meet up in their light, airy premises on Ullevigatan. 

Leir describe themselves as an homage to clay, the foundation on which Gothenburg is built. The Nordic theme is also reflected in much of the interiors. Come by to eat lunch and hold meetings in airy spaces decorated with wooden furniture and plants. The restaurant itself is intended to create a pleasant dining experience while reducing food waste. They serve breakfast, lunch and a café menu from morning until evening, and food is always cooked from scratch. The daily lunch special is always a seasonal vegetarian dish which can be served alongside vegetarian or animal protein.  

Starting from summer 2024, Leir's conference floor can be found on the upper floor, with space for 4-80 people. The kitchen provides the food and drink essential for maintaining energy levels for a productive meeting, and you can round off the day with a dinner with the whole restaurant for yourselves. Leir can also help arrange DJs, equipment, photo booths and anything else you might need.

Private individuals and companies alike can hire Leir as a party venue for up to 300 people at evenings and weekends. Leir can take care of the food, drinks, staff and more.  

Leir's chefs and project managers can also help you tailormake catering menus and everything they serve can be ordered to take away.
