Porter Pelle

Porter Pelle is a historic bistro and porter and wine cellar in rustic waterfront premises in the Klippan neighbourhood. They serve excellent Swedish homecooking with international influences and the drinks menu includes an extensive selection of beers, many of them from small local breweries. Porter Pelle also organises various events and experiences, from wine tastings to live music and porter guided tours. You can hire the restaurant for conferences and kick-offs and food can be ordered to take away and as catering.

Porter Pelle, in the heart of Klippan, serves lunch and dinner dishes made from scratch using top-quality ingredients against a backdrop of wooden furniture, rugs and beer paraphernalia. Each week they serve a weekly lunch special, including salad, coffee and a cookie. The dinner menu includes something for all tastes, with fish, meat and vegetarian options. On the drinks menu you'll find a wide range of wines and beers, including aged Carnegie Porter from owner Björn Lager's private collection.

If you want to arrange a conference or kick-off Porter Pelle can offer a range of venues and activities. They have a barge next to the restaurant which you can hire for events both above and under the water. Above water there's a generous terrace and bathing ladder if you fancy a dip. Under the surface there's a conference room and a Carnegie museum with the world's largest collection of unique porter bottles. Choose a locale that suits you and add the activities and food you want.

Porter Pelle also arranges events and experiences such as live music, quizzes, wine tastings and cooking courses.
