To a småruggig oktoberafton, stepping down the stairs, into the warmth, feel more than welcome. Is not it a bit crowded in the bar area, just inside the door. But with a glass of Champagne in really bread portion, forget it so easily.
I and my company had to wait a little while, just enough, before we were showed to our table. Both the noise level and the soft lighting, felt comfortable, and discussions around tables rather contributed to the pleasant atmosphere, than disturbed.
I chose a lovely small scallops, served in a beautiful shell, on a white sandy beach of ' rock salt '. The arrangement seemed finely tuned, and not anywhere near as hilly as it might seem by description. My companion opted for steak tartare of moose in the company of Whitefish ROE, which sounded tempting, for a true råbiffs-enthusiast, but in hindsight was my choice, however, the law that held the highest level.
Then chose my companions deer, with lingonberries and turnip. Quite rustic and autumnal! I fell for Brill with Sweetbreads and mushrooms, a wonderful fine and well-composed right.
Finally, a dessert consisting of Apple, caramel and vanilla, which I enjoyed to the last Crumb. On the other side of the table was the flavor notes of chocolate, licorice and Sea buckthorn.
Of the whole, a very good nice and tasty dining experience. Would have liked to have given a Fiver here, had it not been so awfully hot, or if the music selection had been different. I felt a little strange to listen to tones immediately brought to mind the neighbour-rock bar pub, across the street.
