Meat is the name of the game at Texas Longhorn, whether you prefer a perfectly cooked steak, entrecote or fajitas. Experience proper Texas barbecue in an equally authentic atmosphere at this restaurant on Södra Vägen. Texas Longhorn was founded in Stockholm because Philip, who moved to Sweden from San Antonio in Texas, missed his home city's tasty barbecue, the smell of grill smoke and its warm atmosphere. There are now several restaurants around the country - including in Gothenburg. 

Surrounded by exposed brick walls, leather furniture and sturdy wooden tables, you can enjoy steaks, burgers and other hearty dishes made from Swedish ingredients. Although meat takes centre stage, there are a couple of fish and vegetarian dishes, and a special children's menu for younger guests. If you want to impress dinner guests at home, you can buy something from the takeaway menu, or ask the helpful staff for a barbecue tip or two. 

The bar is a nice spot for a post-work drink, or why not a cocktail before dinner? They mix up margaritas and other refreshing cocktails here, or you can order a beer, glass of wine, or if you're feeling feisty, a shot or two of tequila.
