The inaugural London Soundtrack Festival 2025, celebrating the music of film, TV, and video games, will take place from 19-26 March across iconic London venues including BFI IMAX, the Barbican, and the Royal Festival Hall.
Headlined by legendary composer Howard Shore, the festival features a gala concert with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and exclusive conversations with director David Cronenberg. Other highlights include a back-to-back screening of “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy introduced by Shore, a concert of Oscar-winner Hildur Guðnadóttir's work, and a masterclass series with leading composers. Oscar-winning composer Anne Dudley also curates a night of iconic movie songs with guest singers including Neil Tennant and Jake Shears.

The festival also presents unique live-in-concert screenings, including “The Silence of the Lambs” with Howard Shore and “Modern Times” with a pre-show talk by Charlie Chaplin's grandson. Meanwhile, gaming music takes centre stage at the Roundhouse, featuring scores from “Baldur's Gate 3”, “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor”, and “Assassin's Creed”, with performances and discussions led by renowned composers.
