Launching 1 August, Plated is London's newest (and possibly fanciest) food festival. For the whole month, more than 30 restaurants, bars and hotels across the King's Road and Knightsbridge will be serving up exclusive menus, festival-only dishes, chef collabs, complimentary cocktails and one-off dining experiences.
As Central London starts to quieten down over August, Plated is the perfect excuse to rediscover two of the city's best dining neighbourhoods: King's Road and Knightsbridge. From iconic institutions to neighbourhood favourites, each participating venue has created something unique for the festival, with exclusive menus, limited-edition dishes and special offers designed to celebrate summer in South West London. Whether you're looking to discover a new favourite restaurant, revisit an old classic or even plan a pub-crawl-style food adventure across the two neighbourhoods, there's plenty here to tempt you.
A few highlights include Hawksmoor, offering two courses for £25 or three for £30, plus a complimentary drink on arrival. The iconic British bistro Rabbit on King's Road will be serving a choice of beef tartare or half lobster with fries and a glass of Sussex Reserve sparkling wine for £25. Meanwhile, on Basil Street, Harry's Dolce Vita has created two limited-edition dishes exclusively for Plated: creamy Puglia burrata with shaved black truffle, and lobster ravioli in a fragrant shellfish sauce with caviar. Every venue taking part in Plated is putting its own spin on the festival with exclusive dishes, special menus, complimentary drinks and fantastic-value offers.
