"Tracey Emin: A Life in Art" steps inside the raw, confessional world of one of Britain's most influential and uncompromising contemporary artists. This major retrospective opens at Tate Modern from 26 February to 31 August 2026. Ticket prices are yet to be confirmed, but entry will be free for Tate Members.
The exhibition combines Emin's most iconic works with rarely seen pieces in painting, sculpture, video, neon, textiles, writing, and installation from the past 40 years. From early works like 'My Bed' to recent, deeply personal paintings, the exhibition traces Emin's lifelong commitment to turning experience into art.

Emin is renowned for blurring the line between public and private, using her own life and body as a powerful vehicle to explore love, pain, trauma and healing. Her fearless self-expression challenged the art world in the 1990s and continues to resonate around the world today. Now, you can enjoy a deep dive into her life at this upcoming Tate Modern exhibition held inside The Eyal Ofer Galleries.
The exhibition is presented in partnership with Gucci and supported by Tate Members.
