The Royal Academy of Art's Summer Exhibition is a fixture of the London art calendar and the 2023 show is now in full swing. Every summer since 1769, the gallery puts on a show that any artist is free to enter, whether they're an established art world name, an emerging artist, a student, or an amateur.

This year there are more than 1,600 works on display, with the whole thing having been co-ordinated by renowned painter and Royal Academician David Remfry. The majority of works are on sale and you'll be able to see pieces by top names including Tracy Emin, Barbara Walker, Gavin Turk, and comedian Joe Lycett. This year's exhibition opened on 13th June and will run until 20th August.
