A deep dive of different cuisines
For each supper club, Lauren and Jo, the redheaded creative minds behind &Ginger, embark on a gastronomic journey through the flavours of a specific country. They aptly name each event after the featured nation, such as Peru & Ginger or Basque & Ginger, although recent events have focused on seasonal dishes from local suppliers in neighbourhood haunts such as Forest Gate's The Cider House. Attendees are treated with dishes accompanied by a choice of bringing their own booze or opting for expertly curated wine pairings (depending on the event), ensuring an enjoyable evening in excellent company.
The, er, occasional event
The Occasional Dining Club is pretty self-explanatory: it's a group of three friends and chefs who met at Leith's School of Food & Wine who host the occasional supper club. The events are BYOB and often have different themes, like their recent event showcasing the best of American food. It's reasonably priced but gets booked up fairly quickly, so act fast if you want to secure a spot at their next rendezvous.
More than just dinner
Mam Sham Supper Club, founded by the dynamic duo Maria Georgiou and Rhiannon Butler, is your passport to London's most exhilarating high-concept events. Specialising in the perfect blend of food, comedy, and creativity, Mam Sham has been the creative force behind memorable moments for leading brands like Nike and Nando's. With a knack for collaborating with some of the UK's most exciting talents in the realms of gastronomy and humour, Mam Sham promises a deliciously-entertaining experience.
Innovation meets sensory exploration
Founded by experimental chef Jozef Youssef, Kitchen Theory Supper Club combines art, science, and gastronomy to create multi-sensory adventures for the palate. Each event is a carefully-curated exploration of flavour, texture, and presentation, providing guests with a unique opportunity to engage with food in unexpected ways.
Pop-up events in cool places
The Disappearing Supper Club is renowned for its pop-up events hosted in unconventional spaces. From retro-themed dinners to innovative cocktails and live entertainment, The Disappearing Supper Club is a testament to the dynamic and innovative spirit of London's dining scene.
A taste of India

Themed supper clubs
Established in 2015, Dinner Ladies has consistently focused on crafting diverse and lively cuisine infused with character and enjoyment. Co-owners Lily Cai and Emily Plunket first crossed paths during their university years. They later resided together in China, where their mutual love for food and the culture's culinary dedication blossomed. They host a range of supper clubs with different themes throughout the year. Past events have included an Irish-themed supper club and a Halloween-themed one.
An intro to Vietnamese cuisine
Renowned for her passion and expertise, Uyen Luu welcomes diners into her home for an intimate and immersive Vietnamese dining experience. With a solid commitment to authenticity and a deep appreciation for the cultural heritage of her dishes, Uyen crafts mouth-watering Vietnamese feasts that showcase the best of this Southeast Asian culinary tradition.
All about human connection
Alexander has created Alexander Does Supper as a way to celebrate the communal aspect that comes with sharing not only food but also a lovely evening together. He created it as a response to the lockdown, using food, wine, and art as a catalyst for a deeper connection, something many of us yearned for during the pandemic. It operates as a supper club in partnership with a local art school, offering a combination of cocktails, life drawing, tasty cuisine, and live music.
An ode to West Africa
Little Baobab, a Senegalese pop-up restaurant, has been hosting monthly events combining food and music for half a decade. Inspired by Senegalese tradition, the communal dining styleembraces togetherness, while the menu offers fragrant dishes. Live African music provides the evening's soundtrack, starting with acoustic tunes and gradually transitioning to lively beats.

A taste of Peranakan cuisine
Nyonya, or Straits-Chinese or Peranakan cuisine, is a delicious fusion of Chinese and Malay cuisines, blending local ingredients like chillies, lemongrass, and fermented shrimp paste to create unique dishes. Guan, the chef and host, has his childhood in Malaysia to thank for his influences, enriched by the Nyonya cuisine prepared by his godmother from Penang. Through his Malaysian Nyonya Supper Club, hosted in Aldgate East or select pop-up venues across London, he aims to share this passion via a multi-course tasting menu showcasing Nyonya cuisine's intricate flavours and dishes.
The best of British produce
Chef James Donnelly, renowned for his culinary talents at Donnelly's Restaurant, initially gained recognition with his well-received pop-up at Louie Louie in Elephant & Castle. Now, he is championing his signature contemporary British cuisine in a Supper Club hosted at the sister venue, South London Louie. Donnelly expertly combines the finest elements of modern British gastronomy, spotlighting locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients from both London and across the UK, all while championing the contributions of small-scale producers.

All-round great vibes
Mixed Feedings hosts fun, themed pop-up supper clubs in venues around London, chock full of excellent food, drinks and all-round great vibes. Their most recent rendezvous was an ode to Bonfire Night, kicking off with mulled wine on arrival, followed by smoked sausage croquettes, spiced miso onion short rib, potato bombs and an apple and celeriac remoulade, which looked downright epic. They even finished off with bingo with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. We're excited to see what they come up with next.
