From either Cockfosters or Oakwood, you can visit Trent Park, which has 413 acres of meadows, woodland, and points of interest. There's a grand country house and even an ancient moat that's rumoured to be haunted. Nature is thriving here, with deer, rabbits, and pheasants amongst the park's wildlife.

In fact, the Old Fashioned here was ranked as the best in the entire world.

At the very end of the Piccadilly line, there's Uxbridge, where you can eat at Martin's Place.
