Moko, based near Tottenham Hale station, is a hi-fi bar that celebrates the vibrant sounds and flavours of the African-Caribbean diaspora. This lively and contemporary spot serves vegan cuisine courtesy of a pop-up kitchen, has an extensive in-house vinyl library, and impressive sound quality. DJ sets take place here and a range of drinks are served.

Seven Sisters is home to Nigerian tapas restaurant Chuku’s. This is a chilled place with a social vibe. There’s an inventive small plates menu designed for sharing, with the focus on classic Nigerian recipes. This restaurant also hosts a bustling weekend brunch with food and cocktails, as well as intimate supper club experiences.

Rowans in Finsbury Park holds fun memories for many North Londoners. There's lots going on here - 24 bowling lanes, private karaoke booths, pool, arcade games, DJs, food, and a well-stocked bar too. During the day it's family-friendly but adults can let loose in the evenings. There's lots happening for every age group.

Close to Highbury & Islington there's Brewhouse & Kitchen, a destination for craft beer and tasty pub food. This modern bar stocks a huge range of brews, and beer is brewed on-site. If you're hungry, there are sandwiches, burgers, beer can chicken, and a Sunday roast. Kids' food is served too.

Between Euston and King's Cross there's Yatri, a restaurant showcasing the flavours and recipes of northern India. Whether you want informal street food or a luxury meal, the menu here has options to satisfy you. Try small bites like samosas and bhajis or choose a curry, paired with wine or Indian beer.

Close to Warren Street station there's the Wellcome Collection, a museum where art, culture, and science intersect. The permanent and temporary exhibitions on display include medical antiquities and other curiosities. There's also a large library and reading room, plus a bright café and a bookshop selling lots of interesting titles and gifts.

Oxford Circus is London’s shopping mecca and you can’t come here without visiting Liberty London. This famed department store is based in a Tudor-revival building that immediately catches the eye. In-store you’ll find departments for fashion, jewellery, beauty, and the store’s famous textiles. There are a variety of in-house services too.

Exit the train at Green Park and you can visit Buckingham Palace, official London residence of the British monarch. You can view the outside of this must-see landmark at any time and watch the changing the guard. In the summer you can also enter the palace itself and view the regal State Rooms.

Near Victoria station there's contemporary British restaurant Lorne. Expect creative and seasonal recipes showcasing British produce in a modern and airy dining room full of plants. A set menu is offered both for lunch and in the evening, or you can choose à la carte dishes. There's a great selection of wine too.

Alight at Pimlico and you can visit Tate Britain. Art lovers will enjoy the comprehensive exhibitions of British art through the ages. Check out the permanent collection for free or visit one of the temporary exhibitions from names like Cornelia Parker, Paula Rego, and Aubrey Beardsley. There are regular special events too.

If you're in Vauxhall try out Vine Bar, a relaxed Italian restaurant. Diners can expect warm and attentive service plus a menu of fresh dishes. Ingredients are sourced from throughout Italy and Britain. Lots of pasta and gnocchi is on the menu and wine is available by the glass here.

If you're a craft beer fan, visit Stockwell and check out The Grosvenor Arms. This relaxed pub has been brought back to life by local brewery Affinity Brew Co. There are 25 beer and cider taps plus pizza is served every day. Events like pub quizzes take place at this down-to-earth destination.

You've made it to Brixton so head to Brixton Jamm for a party! This lively venue has a club, an intimate bar area, and street food, and has hosted live acts like Macka B, General Levy, and Congo Natty. The playlist spans house to reggae to hip hop, and day parties take place regularly.
